About the Role

We are now looking for a commercially driven and entrepreneurial Head of Retail, Nordics to lead and accelerate our retail growth agenda across the Nordic markets. In this role, you will identify new retail opportunities, develop retail concepts and partnerships, and drive the expansion of some of the world's most recognized and loved brands into new retail environments.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Nordic retail strategy in line with the company's growth objectives.
• Identify, evaluate and drive new retail opportunities, partnerships and expansion initiatives.
• Develop retail concepts that deliver a consistent, compelling and commercially successful customer experience.
• Lead retail activations beyond the permanent store network, including pop-ups, exhibitions, events and brand collaborations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, licensees, franchise partners, landlords and other key stakeholders.
• Drive commercial negotiations and business development discussions with partners across the Nordic region.
• Monitor retail trends, consumer behaviour and market developments to identify future growth opportunities.

Our Ideal Candidate

You are a commercially minded retail leader who has successfully built, developed and expanded retail businesses. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and thrive in entrepreneurial environments where opportunities are created rather than simply managed.

To succeed in this role, you have:

• Master's degree in Business, Management or a related field.
• Extensive experience from senior retail leadership roles such as Head of Retail, Retail Director or Nordic Retail Director.
• Proven track record of building and scaling retail operations, store networks or retail concepts.
• Strong commercial and operational expertise with responsibility for sales, profitability and business performance.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities.
• Strong understanding of the Nordic retail landscape and an established professional network within the region.
• Experience working with distributors and indirect sales models.
• FMCG experience and strong understanding of consumer-driven businesses.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and Swedish
