Investment Analyst Intern at Nest Capital, Stockholm

Nest Capital is a private debt investor active in the Nordic region, with current and predecessor funds having total commitments of more than €300 million. The funds provide private debt, mainly in the form of senior, unitranche, and subordinated debt, to small and medium-sized companies across the Nordic countries. The funds' investments support leveraged buyouts, add-on acquisitions, expansion projects as well as refinancings and recapitalizations. The funds do not target any specific industries and investment amounts generally range from €5 million to €20 million. Investors in the funds include Nordic and European insurance companies, pension funds, and other institutional investors, as well as family offices.

We are now looking to strengthen our team by recruiting a part-time Investment Analyst Intern to join our Stockholm office for Spring 2025.

The Role

As an Investment Analyst Intern, you will participate in various activities related to debt fund management, including:

  • Analyzing new investment opportunities and preparing investment presentations
  • Conducting financial modeling as part of the screening process for new investment opportunities
  • Participating in due diligence processes for new investments
  • Supporting the management of the existing portfolio
  • Conducting market research and analyzing market trends
  • Creating fund marketing materials and other internal or external presentations

Who we are looking for

  • A student who is pursuing an academic degree in Finance, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related fields 
  • Exceptional drive, proactiveness, problem-solving skills, and a desire for continuous learning
  • Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with excellent written and verbal presentation skills
  • Hands-on financial modelling experience and solid understanding of corporate finance
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English
