The CapMan Real Estate team execute both value add and stable income-focused investment strategies across all major property sectors in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. Our active value-add funds seek to acquire transitional properties in the most liquid Nordic markets where an asset can be enhanced by active rental and cost management, investments in redevelopment, change of use, or repositioning. Our funds and mandates targeting stable income focuses on well-located, high-quality investments that generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for our investors across market cycles. Our Nordic Real Estate operations include approximately 80 committed real estate investment professionals. The Role
We are looking for an Investment Intern to join our investment team in Copenhagen. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real estate investing as part of a dynamic and international team.
This is a fixed-and part-time position starting in September.
As our Investment Intern, your key responsibilities will include e.g.:
- Screening new investment opportunities across various real estate asset classes (e.g., residential, logistics, offices, hotels).
- Financial modelling and performance analysis of investment cases.
- Preparing investment presentations and market research reports.
- Assisting in due diligence processes for acquisitions and supporting exit strategies.
- Contributing to business plan execution, including leasing, ESG upgrades, and development projects.
- Participating in asset management planning and fund marketing material preparation.
Who we are looking for
The intern position is a part-time position (approx. 20 hours per week) for a candidate currently enrolled in a university program. The intern position is for a student who will graduate with an M.Sc. in the next 1-2 years. The person joining us in this role will be offered challenges and hands-on opportunities in good balance in a dynamic pan-Nordic private equity real estate team based in our Copenhagen office.
To be successful in this role we believe that you recognize yourself in the following;
- You are currently in your last year of a relevant bachelor program and planning to start a degree as cand.merc.FIR/AEF/FIN, cand.polit, cand.oecon or other relevant studies with a focus on finance and investments after the summer.
- Have relevant work experience.
- Have obtained solid academic results.
- Possess good knowledge and passion towards real estate investment industry.
- Demonstrate continuous drive, commitment and proactiveness on daily basis.
- Positive team player attitude and proactiveness.
- Achieve objectives within defined timeframe with high quality output.
- Ability to produce high quality market and property level analysis and research.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in Danish and English.
- Assist with creating a stimulating and rewarding work atmosphere characterized by high performance, respect, and fun.
