What you will be doing:

Amer Sports Mexico is looking for an ambitious SAP Security Consultant to join our team. In this role, as a member of a global team of SAP professionals, you will have the opportunity to not only address a wide range of global SAP support requirements but also to influence the definition of processes and company standards in this area. The main goal of these positions will be to take over the ownership of the SAP Security support activities and manage them independently or in cooperation with the Global SAP Team.

The role will have a strong focus on SAP GRC Access Control and Audit & Compliance activities, acting as a key interface between IT, Internal Audit, and Business stakeholders. The consultant will contribute to ensuring SOX compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement of access governance processes across SAP landscapes.

Responsibilities of this role include:

• Administration of Users and User authorizations
• Support incidents, changes, and international SAP projects
  • Support projects and system changes by performing GRC impact assessments and ensuring compliant role design.
• Define and develop SAP authorizations in accordance with SOX guidelines
• Maintaining and reviewing the existing SAP Security & Compliance Concept at Amer Sports, respecting best practices and state-of-the-art security level.  
• Security frameworks and authorization models in S/4 HANA, SAP ECC and other SAP technologies (incl. SAP Fiori)  
• Internal and external audit execution and improvement of processes for a better compliance.  
• Reviewing, improving and developing new tools for SAP Security & Compliance processes.  
• Responsibility for actual SAP Security patches (validation and implementation).  
• Execution and monitoring of SoD risk analysis and coordination of mitigation actions with business owners.
• Support SOX and other compliance audits, including preparation of evidence, response to audit queries, and coordination of remediation actions.
• Maintain and continuously improve SAP Security & GRC controls, aligned with internal policies and audit requirements.
• Act as main SAP Security & GRC contact for Internal Audit, External Audit, and Compliance teams.

What you need to succeed:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Security.
• Fluent in English.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with SAP GRC Access Control, including ARA, EAM/Firefighter, BRM, and ARM.
• Proven experience supporting internal and external audits (e.g., SOX), including evidence collection, remediation tracking, and audit walkthroughs.
• Strong understanding of segregation of duties (SoD) concepts and risk analysis in SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
• Experience defining and maintaining GRC rulesets, mitigating controls, and risk remediation strategies.
• Ability to act as IT control owner or SME for SAP security and GRC-related controls.
• Experience working with auditors and compliance teams in an international environment.
• Detailed knowledge of relevant SAP Security frameworks and authorization models.
• Experience with SAP User/Role Management and SAP Transport Management.
• Ability to easily identify business needs and propose solutions matching our existing global processes  
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
