IT Support Technician with interest in Projects and Networks
We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented, service-minded, and has a genuine interest in IT and technology. Your communication skills are crucial for understanding and solving users' technical problems. You explain technical solutions clearly and pedagogically, both verbally and in writing. With a customer-focused attitude, you ensure that each user gets the help they need, while contributing to a positive user experience.
As an IT support technician with us, you will be a key player in our team, where your focus is on helping our users within the entire Geomatikk group (Sweden, Norway, and Finland) with their daily IT-related questions.
For the right person, there is also the opportunity to participate in exciting projects. If you also have knowledge in networks and firewalls, it is a big plus.
Your main tasks:
- Receive and handle incoming cases via phone, email, and ticketing system.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving of hardware, software, network, and user issues.
- Create, update, and close support cases in accordance with SLA requirements.
- Guide users in Office 365 applications and basic functions.
- Participate in migration projects for M365 (Microsoft 365).
Your background and qualifications:
- Previous experience in 1st line support or similar role.
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Exchange, Intune, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook).
- Knowledge in networks, firewalls, such as basic troubleshooting, switches, and Wi-Fi.
- Strong communication skills, both in Swedish and English.
- Experience working with firewalls, such as Fortigate (meritorious).
- Used to working in ticketing systems and following ITIL processes (meritorious).
- Experience in Powershell (meritorious).
Educational requirements: We prefer that you have a post-secondary education in IT, networks, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
