Now we’re looking for a development-oriented and cooperative Legal Counsel, Data, Governance & Compliance to join our passionate team for a one-year fixed term in 2027 and help us shape the future of food and beverages. You will be based in Helsinki, Finland and report to the SVP Legal and be part of our legal team.

Your role in the blend

As Legal Counsel you will have group-level responsibilities across different Paulig countries. Your main responsibilities are data, governance, and compliance initiatives, with a particular focus on supporting Paulig's development in areas such as AI, cybersecurity and data-driven ways of working, as well as development of contract management.

In this role, you will:

• Provide practical legal expertise in areas such as AI, cybersecurity, data privacy, corporate law, anti-corruption and sanctions.
• Follow changes to legislation in your field of expertise and provide legal training and guidance to the organization.
• Drive the implementation of contract management processes, and
• Support significant transformation projects.

Your key ingredients

To succeed in this role, you likely have:

• A Master of Laws degree.
• 3-5 years’ relevant experience from in-house counseling or a law firm.
• Prior experience in data privacy, AI, cybersecurity, technology-related legal matters or similar areas, combined with a strong interest in developing further expertise across these topics.
• High integrity and ability to take independent responsibility and manage projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to challenge in a constructive and collaborative way and translate complex legal matters into practical guidance for different stakeholders.
• Analytical, business minded and result-oriented way of working.
• Capability to work in an international environment and willingness to travel.
• Fluency in Finnish and English on a professional level, both oral and written. Other languages are an advantage.
