Are you an experienced communications leader who combines strategic perspective with a hands-on approach? Deloitte Finland is looking for a Director, Corporate Relations and Communications to shape and lead our communications, public relations and stakeholder engagement agenda.

In this influential role, you will strengthen Deloitte’s corporate reputation and market presence, build trusted relationships with media and key stakeholders, and act as a strategic communications adviser to the CEO and senior leadership. You will translate business priorities and complex topics into clear, credible and engaging communications for internal and external audiences.

Your role

Working closely with senior leadership and the Clients and Marketing teams, you will ensure that communications support Deloitte’s business priorities, brand and client relationships.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Developing and leading Deloitte Finland’s communications, PR and corporate relations strategy
• Shaping Deloitte’s corporate narrative, key messages and reputation across audiences and channels
• Building trusted media relationships and identifying proactive opportunities for visibility
• Owning and systematically developing Deloitte’s relationship-building platforms and flagship initiatives
• Working closely with senior leaders and Clients and Marketing teams to strengthen engagement with key clients and stakeholders and maximise the impact of these initiatives
• Turning business priorities, client insights and thought leadership into relevant and impactful communications
• Advising the CEO and senior leaders on executive communications and reputation
• Overseeing high-quality corporate content across internal and external channels

This is a hands-on leadership role with broad organisational influence. You will report directly to the CEO, lead a Communications Specialist, and work closely with internal teams and external parties to set direction, prioritise activities, ensure high-quality, and coordinated execution.

What we are looking for

You are an accomplished communications professional with significant experience in corporate communications, public relations or corporate affairs, ideally gained in a complex, expert-led or client-focused organisation.

We expect you to bring:

• A strong track record in communications strategy, media relations, reputation management and executive advisory
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to turn complex topics into clear and compelling messages
• Sound judgement and confidence in handling sensitive and fast-moving issues, with the ability to interpret public debate and emerging trends
• Commercial understanding and the ability to connect communications with business, client and brand priorities
• A collaborative and influential leadership style with strong stakeholder management skills
• Strategic thinking combined with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and strong prioritisation skills

You have a relevant university degree or other suitable educational background and are fluent in both written and spoken Finnish and English.
