In the CapMan Real Estate team we execute both value add and stable income-focused investment strategies across all major property sectors in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway. Our active value-add funds seek to acquire transitional properties in the most liquid Nordic markets where an asset can be enhanced by active rental and cost management, investments in redevelopment, change of use, or repositioning. Our funds and mandates targeting stable income generation seek well-located, high-quality investments that generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for our investors across market cycles. Our Nordic Real Estate operations include approximately 80 committed real estate investment professionals and our real estate funds hold approx. 55 assets comprising 224 individual properties.

We are now strengthening our Danish Real Estate team by hiring a talented professional Junior Asset Manager to join our team in Copenhagen.
The Role
As a Junior Asset Manager at CapMan Real Estate, you will play a vital role in managing and maximizing the value of our real estate assets. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans, overseeing property operations, optimizing tenant relationships, and driving performance as well as improving our own processes. Working closely with our experienced team, you will have the opportunity to make data-driven decisions, identify value-add opportunities and contribute to the growth of our portfolio.
The main focus in this role is value add investment strategies and overall development of our processes within asset management.
Your tasks include but are not limited to the following;
- Implementation and development of business plans in our real estate assets ensuring portfolio strength and provide overall support in all stages of the property lifecycle, including due diligence processes, development strategies, execution and exit.
- Increase overall portfolio value by overseeing, structuring and managing asset management initiatives and processes including relationships with investors, joint venture partners and service providers.
- Develop and execute strategic asset management plans to enhance property value and achieve financial goals.
- Provide regular, qualitative reporting to investors on business plan updates and projected returns on investments.
- Conduct marketing and leasing activities to attract interest in properties, boost value and increase asset revenue.
- Manage real estate administration, including budgeting, maintenance/renovation, ESG plans and price negotiations regarding leasing activities, tenant negotiations and lease renewals.
- Procure and collaborate with various external partners such as property managers, leasing agents, construction teams and other external partners to ensure proper maintenance and enhancement of assets.
- Stay updated on market conditions, regulations including ESG and industry best practices as well as emerging trends to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a junior member to join our current asset management team of three. You will primarily work on one commercial portfolio along a senior asset manager but will in time grow and expand to other areas. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and develop their skills in real estate asset management within an experienced team.
To be successful in this role we look for a candidate with experience and knowledge in the following areas:
- Ideally experience from an asset management firm. Preferably experience from leasing, property development and construction and tenant management.
- Professional expertise and understanding of property management, building permits, zoning plans, valuation, financial accounting and real estate law.
- Knowledge of green building certifications, energy efficiency technologies and sustainable property management practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Real Estate, Law, Finance, Business Administration, public administration, engineering or a related field.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in collaborative teamwork, with a capacity to thrive in a structured setting and handle multiple tasks concurrently, all while maintaining focus on the overarching goals and objectives.
- Commercially oriented, ambitious, self-driven and solution-focused mindset.
- Well experienced with MS Office programs; Excel and Powerpoint.
- Working experience of 1-2 years from relevant industry or business sector.
- Proficiency in Danish and English (both written and spoken).
