Junior Key Account Manager

We are expanding our presence in the DACH-region! Therefore, we are now looking for a dynamic and passionate Junior Key Account Manager to join our team located in Germany. This role is a great opportunity for you who are in the beginning of your career and want to continue your journey within sales. You will get the chance to support the DACH-team in various tasks, independently perform administrative & analytical tasks and be responsible for smaller customers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in different countries.
This role is located in the Rhine-Main region, and you need to be able to commute to our co-working space in Wiesbaden on a regular basis.
The role
As a Junior Key Account Manager, your role will be hands-on, varied, and integral to the DACH business unit's continued success. You will provide support in the daily commercial activities of the team, manage relationships with smaller customers and ensure seamless communication across departments and with clients.
Main tasks:
- Support the DACH business unit in day-to-day commercial tasks
- Take responsibility for smaller customer accounts, ensuring their needs are met efficiently
- Develop and maintain internal trackers, such as campaign, price, and promotional analyses, as well as sell-in/sell-out and listing overviews
- Handle customer tools, including sales reports, price lists, article passes and other master data files
- Manage assortment changes, keeping an overview and communicating updates to customers
- Support the organisation and execution of customer meetings and both internal and external presentations
- Contribute to the annual joint advertising planning process
- Coordinate back-office functions, such as sample shipments and order follow-ups
- Participate in the implementation of commercial projects
- Work closely with colleagues across departments, especially Global Commercial Strategy, Business Controlling, Global eCom, Demand Planning and Customer Service

What we think you have
- A university degree or equivalent in Economics, ideally within International Management, Business, Sales or in a similar field
- Some working experience within sales, preferably in the beauty and/or consumer goods industry
- Native in German and fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Good knowledge of the market and retail structures of the beauty and/or consumer goods industry
- Very confident in using MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
- Good negotiation and argumentation skills
- Ability to work very independently as the job will partly be done from your home office
