About The Role

As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will drive strategic growth across key accounts and target customers within the DACH region. Acting as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, you will own the complete enterprise sales lifecycle—from market development and opportunity creation through contract negotiation and long-term account expansion.

You will represent at the forefront of digital transformation in high-tech manufacturing, helping some of the world's most innovative companies optimize and future-proof their operations. In this highly visible role, you will build C-level relationships, influence strategic customer initiatives, and contribute directly to the growth strategy of the business.

Working closely with product, consulting, project delivery, and leadership teams, you will identify new market opportunities, shape complex solutions, and position camLine as a strategic partner for manufacturing digitalization.

Responsibilities

  • Own and expand a portfolio of strategic accounts while driving significant new business growth across the DACH region.
  • Develop and execute account strategies that align customer business objectives with camLine's long-term growth ambitions.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales engagements, managing opportunities from prospecting and qualification through negotiation, contract closure, and account expansion.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior executives, business leaders, and C-level stakeholders across target industries.
  • Identify, develop, and pursue high-value opportunities through a value-based consultative selling approach.
  • Lead customer workshops, executive briefings, solution presentations, and strategic business reviews.
  • Collaborate with technical experts, consulting teams, and leadership to develop tailored digital transformation roadmaps and business cases.
  • Drive commercial strategy, including pricing, contract negotiations, and partnership models for strategic customers.
  • Act as the executive voice of the customer, influencing product direction and business priorities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive developments, and industry dynamics to identify new business opportunities and support go-to-market strategy.
  • Contribute to sales excellence initiatives, mentoring colleagues and sharing best practices across the commercial organization.

About The Ideal Candidate

  • University degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
  • 7+ years of successful enterprise B2B sales, strategic account management, or business development experience, ideally within software, industrial automation, manufacturing technology, or digital transformation environments.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets in complex consultative sales environments.
  • Experience managing large-scale accounts and navigating multi-stakeholder buying processes within international organizations.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate customer challenges into compelling business value propositions.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience with contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and commercial deal structuring.
  • Highly effective relationship builder with an established professional network and strong business development capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills in German and English; additional languages are an advantage.
