CapMan’s Legal & Compliance team plays a key role in supporting and enabling the company’s business. Our main focus is on fund-related legal matters, including fund establishment, operations, and regulatory compliance. In addition, we handle CapMan Group’s corporate legal affairs, governance matters, and compliance related to our listed company status. Our team of eleven professionals is based in Helsinki.
To strengthen our team, we are now looking to hire a KYC Intern to join our Helsinki office.
The Role
As an Intern, you will support our team with KYC processes and data quality improvements. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in KYC and compliance while contributing to automation and efficiency enhancements.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collecting and centralizing KYC data for CapMan Group entities and funds.
- Assisting in KYC/AML processes by updating investor and counterparty information.
- Maintaining accurate records by entering KYC data into the system.
- Supporting PEP and sanctions screening.
Who we are looking for
You are at the later stage in your Bachelor's degree (either University of Applied Sciences or academic) in business administration, economics, law, or a related field.
To be successful in this role, you should ideally have:
- A structured and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Ability to handle manual, structured tasks efficiently.
- Interest in KYC processes, compliance, and the financial industry.
- Good MS Office skills (experience in KYC data management tools is considered a plus).
- Some relevant experience (e.g., financial sector, public authority, advisory, or law firm).
- Fluency in Finnish and English (Swedish is considered a plus).
This position is a fixed-term internship for approximately 4 months starting as soon as possible during the spring. We hope you are able to commit to working around 20-30 hours a week during the spring and fall, while working full-time during the summer months. We are flexible with the exact starting time and duration of the traineeship.
