We are now looking for Laboratory Engineer or Research Scientist to join our Length Metrology team.

As a Laboratory Engineer or Researcher, you have a role in providing Finland’s most accurate measurements and calibrations for our industrial clients. The main fields of activities include co-ordinate measurements, transfer standard calibrations and onsite calibrations. In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop to one of Finland’s top professionals in the field of dimensional metrology. Our team, Length Metrology works on delivering quality tools for Finnish manufacturing industry such as machine, marine, electronics, diagnostic or photonics industry.

As Laboratory Engineer or Researcher, your tasks will include some but not necessary all the following:

· You will have responsibility of a set of services and measurements. This includes responsibility to develop methods and services to match customer needs and international agreements.

· You will perform measurements and calibrations for customers and have close communication with them.

· You will together with colleagues perform R&D projects, consultation, and training for industrial customer

Who we are looking for:

· Person with experience or education in calibrations & measurements for industrial quality control

· Person with manufacturing technology degree from university or from university of applied sciences or long experience in area

· Words like tolerance and measurement uncertainty should be we well familiar to you
