We are seeking a lecturer at Laurea University of Applied Sciences in the unit for UAS Master's degrees. This is a fixed-term position for 1.10.2025 - 31.12.2027.

The lecturer's role is to promote educational export and work in the Master's degree programs in project management and business administration. The role includes educational export of Master's degrees, teaching, supervising theses, and working on RDI (Research, Development, and Innovation) projects. You will actively utilize professional networks and participate in research and development projects in implementing Laurea's Learning by Developing (LbD) model.

The position requires a relevant higher education degree, pedagogical qualification (60 ECTS), and at least three years of relevant work experience in the field you are teaching. The role also requires expertise in business administration with a focus on future-oriented project management, good interpersonal skills, a student-centered approach, and a proven track record in publishing. The studies are mainly conducted in English, so excellent English and at least moderate (minimum B1) Finnish language skills are required. In Laurea, we also gladly support our employees in language skill development.

We also value demonstrated pedagogical skills, the ability to utilize diverse digital teaching methods, interest and proven success in student guidance, expertise in service design and digital services, and experience in educational export and obtaining RDI funding. Ongoing or completed doctoral studies are considered an advantage, as well as any achieved project management certificates.

The lecturer's monthly salary is composed of the years of relevant work experience and the previously listed official qualifications, and ranges between 3700-5200 euros. A person with  +20 years of relevant experience and the official qualifications will have a monthly salary around 5100-5500€ (61,000 - 66,000€ yearly). The annual working time for a full-time lecturer is 1600 hours in a calendar year (on average 40 hours/week). The calendar year includes a period of leave of 12 weeks in total, of which 8 weeks are held during the summer. This and the flexibility on work time and place allows a great work-life balance.

The position is located at Laurea's Tikkurila or Leppävaara campuses as agreed, and working partly remotely is also possible. The terms of employment are in accordance with the collective agreement for Universities of Applied Sciences. The eligibility requirements for the lecturer are determined by the decree on Universities of Applied Sciences 1129/2014 and Laurea's regulations.
