The Business Control function serves as a financial business partner to management and other key functions. It is responsible for preparing financial reports, analyses, forecasts, and plans, while also contributing to long-term strategic planning.

In this role, you will analyze and provide management with insightful financial information and business analysis. Leveraging this information, you will actively participate in planning and decision-making processes. You will work closely with the Sales and Sourcing teams, acting as a trusted business partner to support management in driving informed, value-creating decisions.

Main accountabilities are:

• Regularly deliver detailed sales performance reports, including customer and product mix analysis to identify trends and business opportunities.
• Coordinate the end-to-end forecasting cycle, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business targets across all planning rounds.
• Analyze product and customer profitability and provide actionable insights on margin drivers and mix impacts.
• Develop and maintain pricing models; perform variance and sensitivity analyses to support pricing decisions and commercial strategies.
• Partner with the procurement team to deliver controlling insights for sourcing decisions, including tracking savings and market outperformance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management and other stakeholders to prepare and deliver quarterly pricing guidance based on market developments, cost drivers, and strategic objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Industrial Management.
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in business controlling
• Advanced analytical skills
• Proven experience in utilizing Excel and other tools in managing and analyzing data.
• Experience using SAP and Tableau is an advantage.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Fluent English both written and spoken
• Flexibility with working hours, due to global reach of the position

This position is located in our Head office in Espoo (hybrid working model) and you will report to Director, Head of Business Controlling. In this role, the main cooperation parties addition to the Business Controlling team are Sales and Sourcing teams, and Plant Controllers.
