Manager, External Communications & Investor Relations
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Manager focusing on External Communications and Investor Relations.
The Manager, External Communications & Investor Relations is responsible for hands- on managing and developing the company’s external communications and investor relations activities to ensure transparent, consistent, and high-quality communication with investors, analysts, media, and other external stakeholders.
The role supports the company’s market valuation and reputation by delivering reliable and timely information in line with regulatory requirements and the company’s strategy.
Your key responsibilities are:
External Communications
- Develop and implement the external communications strategy aligned with company objectives
- Hands-on project leader and execution of annual report, interim reports, and other external communication documents and disclosures
- Manage media relations and proactively position the company in relevant channels
- Oversee external content across channels (website, press releases, social media)
- Acting closely together and as a backup for Manager, Internal communications
Investor Relations Management
- Hands-on planning and execution of investor relations activities (result communications, investor meetings, capital markets interactions)
- Prepare and coordinate financial communications, including stock exchange releases and investor materials
- Support quarterly and annual reporting processes in collaboration with Finance and leadership, including being in charge of the relevant documentation
- Maintain relationships with analysts, investors, and other capital market stakeholders
Disclosure & Compliance
- Ensure all communications comply with disclosure regulations and company policies
- Support governance of disclosure processes and timelines
- Coordinate communication related to regulated information (e.g. financial results, inside information)
- Act as a key contact in disclosure-related matters
Stakeholder Engagement
- Identify and engage key external stakeholders (investors, analysts, media, etc.)
- Support leadership in external communication situations (results, events, interviews)
- Coordinate participation in investor events, roadshows, and industry forum
Reputation & Crisis Communications
- Support crisis communication and issues management externally
- Monitor external perception and media coverage
- Provide guidance to leaders on reputational communication topics
To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will have:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Finance, Business, or related field
- 5 + years of experience in investor relations, financial communications, or corporate communications
- Experience in a listed company environment
- Experience with financial reporting and stakeholder communication
- Strong understanding of capital markets, financial reporting, and regulatory environment
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills, especially for financial and strategic topics
- Hands-on experience of being in charge of preparing annual and interim reports
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear communication
- Experience in media relations and external stakeholder engagement
- Project management and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
- Cross functional collaboration skills and ability to deliver upon deadlines
- Familiar with ESEF and ESG reporting practices
- Fluent in English and Finnish
