Manager, HR, Finland
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead human resources operations at our manufacturing facility in Nakkila and head office in Espoo. This role is responsible for driving HR initiatives, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture that supports our business objectives.
Main tasks and responsibilities are:
- Serve as the primary HR contact for all employees in Finland, providing support in HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes to ensure a fair and positive work environment.
- Implement and manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, as well as company policies.
- Drive training and development programs to enhance employees skills and career growth.
- Support performance management initiatives, including goal setting, performance reviews, and coaching.
- Manage compensation, benefits administration, and payroll coordination for plant employees.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within the workforce.
- Collaborate closely with corporate HR and international HR team.
- Be the trusted partner for the plant's leadership on strategic HR initiatives and align them with business goals.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Years of experience in HR leadership, preferably in a manufacturing, plant, or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance regulations, and HR best practices.
- Experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and workforce engagement.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office 365
- Fluent written and spoken communication skills in Finnish and English
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
