You may be our next Manager, Market Insight to be located at Espoo, Finand. 

We are seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Market Insight Manager to lead our global market and competitive intelligence efforts. In this strategic role, you will analyze external trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to deliver actionable insights that support leadership decisions, business growth, and long-term strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Market & Competitive Intelligence Leadership

• Lead Suominen’s global market intelligence framework, including competitive analysis, market sizing, and trend tracking.

• Build continuous intelligence processes across regions, segments, and technologies.

• Deliver actionable insights on customer behavior, market shifts, and emerging opportunities.

• Support strategic planning, M&A assessments, and growth initiatives with robust market data.

• Partner with business, R&D, and commercial teams to align insights with strategic and innovation priorities.

• Provide recurring market reports, dashboards, and executive briefings.

• Manage relationships with external research firms, industry groups, and data providers.

Strategic Insight Generation

• Translate market data and qualitative insights into clear strategic recommendations.

• Produce regular intelligence reports and leadership-facing dashboards.

• Monitor and anticipate market, regulatory, and technology developments.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary contact for market and competitive intelligence.

• Work closely with business units, strategy, finance, and innovation teams to align insights across the organization.

• Present findings to senior leadership and the Board.

• Oversee partnerships with data and research providers.

Capability Building

• Build and lead a small analyst team; strengthen market and competitive intelligence capabilities.

• Develop standardized tools, templates, and processes for insight delivery.

• Foster a data-driven, market-informed culture across Suominen.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.

• 10+ years in market intelligence, strategy, or consulting (multinational/corporate preferred).

• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

• Proficiency with BI and market tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Statista, Euromonitor).

• Proven leadership and global stakeholder management.

Preferred

• Experience in manufacturing, technology, or supply-chain–driven industries.

• Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, FactSet, Statista, Euromonitor, or Crunchbase.

• Experience leading analysts or cross-functional project teams.

• Strong global and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
