Manager, Sourcing, Capex & MRO

You may be our new Manager, Sourcing, Capex & MRO located in Italy (Gallarate).
This new position is responsible for global strategies and activities in external support of our production assets. This will include responsibilities for spend associated with MRO, support of our investment (CAPEX) teams in negotiations and contract development, utility spend management, and the global lead for other indirect spends.
Main tasks and responsibilities are:
- Develop and implement innovative approaches to sourcing arrangements that minimize costs and commercial risk as well as deliver savings. Identify and execute cost saving strategies and programs in the sourcing of indirect spends.
- Oversee the acquisition process in support of investment (CAPEX) teams with supplier negotiations and contract development for all contract terms, commercial and non-commercial. Engage other functional support in regards.
- Support asset ROI justification as needed.
- Provide support to Investment teams regarding supplier management and performance
- Develop and lead MRO global sourcing strategies to improve maintenance support, reduce asset downtime, improve inventory readiness and levels.
- Manage ongoing supplier alliances to foster continuous improvement, negotiate contracts/agreements to minimize costs and ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service
To be successful in this role, you will have
- Master´s degree
- 3+ years of experience in Asset Management and Sourcing
- Experience in MRP systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle, etc…)
- Proven negotiation and contract development experience with assets as well as indirect type spends.
- Financial analysis and modelling aptitude as it relates to investments and purchase spend
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Project Management aptitude and experience
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and written skills in English
- Initiative to implement change
- Asset and investment knowledge Nonwovens and/or Pulp processes
This position reports to VP, Sourcing.
