We are now looking for Master’s Thesis Worker to join our Automated Vehicles team. Join us - and let’s make an impact together!

As a Master’s Thesis Worker, your key goals are developing simulation/remote-operation environment for evaluating automated vehicle sensing systems, connectivity and driving functions. In this position, you will have an essential role in coding automated vehicle fleet operation facilities.

Our team, Automated Vehicles are extending automated operation of heavy-good vehicles, passenger cars and last-mile vehicles in diverse environment. We are using modern ICT technologies (5G/C-V2X based connected driving, environment perception, artificial intelligence, positioning, etc.) enabling full automation within a 5-10 year time frame.

As Master’s Thesis Worker, you will:

  • Do programming in simulator environment with using Unity, C/C++, Linux, QT tools
  • Enable remote operation of vehicles with using connected driving technologies (5G and 5,9 GHz communication channels) via MQTT broker
  • Report and disseminate results in technical reports and generate new innovative IPR for licensing.

Who we are looking for:

  • You have programming skills with python or C/C++ languages
  • You can create models to the Unity environment
  • You have signal processing understanding for point cloud based sensors (radars, LiDARs, etc.)
  • You understand basic principles of optical sensing solutions
  • You hold at least B level driving license in Finland.
