Material & Supply Planner, Americas

Are you an experienced supply chain or materials management professional who thrives on ensuring seamless production flow, optimizing inventory, and solving operational bottlenecks? Ready to take ownership of material flow for our growing operations in North America? If so, we want you to join us as our Material & Supply Planner, Americas.

In this hands-on role, you will drive material planning, inventory optimization, and production scheduling for our US operations. You will be the main point of contact for local suppliers, manage order placement, and work closely with our local assembly partner near Grand Rapids in Zeeland, Michigan. Additionally, you will ensure high ERP/WMS data accuracy, coordinate revision changes, and act as a reliable support to our US sales team regarding product availability and lead times.

While operating with high independence in the US, you will collaborate daily with our manufacturing partner, local suppliers, and our HQ supply chain teams in Tampere, Finland. You'll join a growing North American team of around 30 Framerians across sales, field support, and backoffice roles, all working together to build our presence in the region. Your time will split between planning, purchasing, and data maintenance, alongside problem-solving within supply chain operations

What Makes You a Great Fit?

You are a detail-oriented, active problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You have a great eye for data, solid prioritization skills, and the resilience to handle sudden changes in a dynamic environment.

We’re looking for:

  • Relevant experience in supply chain roles, focused on purchasing, material/supply planning, or production planning.
  • Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, inventory management principles, and supplier collaboration.
  • Solid experience with ERP systems and Excel, plus an understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Precise, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to maintain accurate master data and resolve inventory imbalances.
  • Great communication skills in English to align with suppliers, local assembly teams, and HQ colleagues in Finland.
  • Readiness to actively visit the assembly facility in Zeeland (around 3 days a week), travel locally to suppliers in the US, and visit HQ in Finland a couple of times a year.

Don’t worry if you don’t 100% tick all the boxes - we are eager to hear about you, as we also leave room for the motivation to grow and learn to fit the role.
