Lapland Staff is looking for Snowmobile Sledge drivers for Lapland Safaris Saariselkä, for the Christmas season 2024.

The main task of a Snowmobile Sledge driver is to act as a driver for customers on a snowmobile pulling a sleigh. Sled drivers work outside in Christmas-themed activity areas, spreading joy and transporting international Christmas groups, mainly consisting of families. Duties also include dressing customers and maintenance and repair of guest’s safari clothing. Your working day may include preparation tasks for the activity area, and possibly dismantling and cleaning the activity area after the program ends, together with a team consisting of activity and safari guides and sled drivers.

The length of working days varies according to the group and program. The work is done both on weekdays and on weekends, also on Christmas holidays, and the days can be long. We value flexibility in working hours and good pressure tolerance.

Your journey as a Lapland Safaris Sledge Driver will be facilitated by an active and brisk attitude and a good ability to communicate with both the team and customers. The working environment is international, so we expect you to speak English fluently. Other language skills, especially Spanish, are considered an advantage in this position, as well as experience with motor vehicles and work in the tourism industry. The job requires a class B driver's license.

We offer you:

  • Great team and beautiful working surroundings

  • Good outdoor work clothing

  • An easy way to experience arctic nature.

  • Numerous outdoor activities
