We are currently looking for experienced and driven OHL Managers to join several major wind farm construction projects in Finland.
The first assignments are expected to commence during late 2026 and early 2027, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects from engineering and design through construction, energization and final handover.
As an OHL Manager, you will play a key role in managing the overhead line scope, ensuring technical quality, schedule compliance, stakeholder coordination and successful interface management between wind farm infrastructure and the transmission network.
We are recruiting for multiple OHL Manager positions as our renewable energy project portfolio continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate overhead line (OHL) engineering and construction activities.
- Manage OHL contractors throughout project execution.
- Ensure high-quality engineering and installation works.
- Coordinate design reviews and technical approvals.
- Drive project progress and monitor key milestones.
- Plan and coordinate inspections, reviews and handover activities.
- Manage interfaces between OHL, substations, internal grid and wind turbine scopes.
- Coordinate transmission line outages and interface activities with transmission system operators.
- Organize and lead project and technical meetings.
- Monitor contractor performance and contractual compliance.
- Support QA/QC activities and quality follow-up.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Collaborate closely with Site Managers, Grid Managers and Construction Project Managers.
Requirements
Essential
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in overhead line, grid connection, transmission, substation or renewable energy projects.
- Strong understanding of construction and engineering project execution.
- Experience managing contractors and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong planning and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple technical interfaces simultaneously.
- Fluent Finnish and English language skills.
Considered an Advantage
- Wind farm project experience.
- Experience working with transmission system operators and utility companies.
- Knowledge of Grid Code compliance requirements.
- Experience with owner-side project supervision.
- Understanding of substation and grid connection projects.
