Operational Excellence Specialist (m/f/d)

When transportation runs smoothly, everything moves better. As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you’ll help keep our daily operations on track while turning recurring challenges into smarter, more efficient ways of working across our global transportation network.
What you will be doing
- Support local Transportation Managers in the daily execution of transportation operations
- Resolve operational issues such as delays, exceptions, carrier issues and warehouse incidents
- Act as a first point of support for operational challenges and coordinate with the right stakeholders to find solutions
- Manage and follow up on operational tickets, ensuring timely responses and effective resolution
- Identify recurring or complex issues, investigate root causes and escalate systemic or cross-regional topics when needed
- Ensure compliance with global standards, processes and execution rules, and identify process gaps or deviations
- Work with Customer Service, DCs, Supply Chain, carriers and other stakeholders across different countries
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, new processes and tools, and help improve transportation operations through data and operational insights
- Ensure accurate use of operational tools and data, including claims and transportation-related systems
What you need to succeed
- Around 3 years of professional experience, preferably in logistics, transportation or a related operational environment
- Basic understanding of logistics and transportation processes
- A structured and analytical approach, with strong attention to detail
- Solution-oriented and hands-on, with the ability to identify root causes and follow issues through to resolution
- A genuine continuous improvement mindset and interest in making processes more efficient
- Proactive communicator and confident working with different stakeholders and teams
- Comfortable working with operational tools and data; experience with SAP, WMS/TMS or claims tools is a plus
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- Team player who enjoys working in a multicultural and fast-paced environment
