OPERATIONS ANALYST, WIPAK GROUP

In this role your goal is to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making by providing accurate data analysis, comprehensive reporting, and effective support for continuous improvement initiatives. As an Operations Analyst, Wipak Group you are the owner of the transparency part of the Wipak Operational Excellence System and lead the development and implementation of harmonised performance metrics and reporting systems to track and improve operational performance (including safety, quality, delivery accuracy, waste and productivity) across the Wipak Group.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues in all business divisions. You report to the Operational Excellence Director, Food Division and as a dotted line to the other members of Group Operations Functions Governance Team. This full-time position can be based in any Wipak location in Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, or the UK. The ability to travel to other Wipak locations and fluency in English are required to succeed in this position.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Collate operational data from various sources and provide reports and analysis of operations performance and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain regular reports, databases, and dashboards to monitor and communicate information.
• Develop MS Power BI reporting.
• Collaborate with site operations teams to lead the operations budgeting process and prepare operational plans aligned with overall business needs.
• Assess current data collection methods, procedures, and outputs to recommend improvements for accuracy, reliability, and standardization across the Group.
• Participate in development projects for new tools and process improvements.
• Support the Operations team in data analysis to aid improvement projects.
• Provide proactive support and conduct training to ensure local users' skills and knowledge regarding our systems.

What are we looking for?

• Typically, Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and performance measurement.
• Proficiency in MS Power BI and other data visualization tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with budgeting processes and operational planning.
• Knowledge of data collection methods and best practices.
• Ability to train and support users in system applications.
• Experience with database management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling.
• A hands-on and proactive approach that gets things done.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a matrix organisation and with cross-functional teams with the emotional intelligence to operate in a multicultural environment.
