As a Payroll Trainee, you will be substituting for our Payroll Specialists in the summertime and will take care of our payroll processes both in Finland and abroad. Your daily work will consist of hands-on work for a large variety of different payroll topics. You will take care of processing and calculating the payroll, payroll-related reporting and accounting, and providing top-quality service to our organization in all payroll-related matters. You will also work closely with our global payroll partners in 18 different countries around the globe. You will be supported by our talented Payroll colleagues throughout the summer, and they will teach you all that is needed to succeed in the role, worry not.

As a Payroll Trainee, you will be part of our People&Culture (P&C) function and the Compensation team. You will collaborate closely, especially with our P&C Business Partner team and the Finance team. 

Could it be you?

At best, you already have some work experience with Finnish payroll matters and some knowledge of Finnish collective agreements, the Annual Holidays Act & the Working Time Act. Any Finance or HR-related experience is also seen as a benefit and can compensate for limited payroll experience.

Experience from global (payroll) activities is definitely an asset but not required, as we’re able to onboard you into our global operations. Things that you do not know yet, you are eager to find out - curiosity and eagerness to learn are a must.

We are looking for a team player who is a quick learner, and works independently but also knows when to ask a colleague for help. You are solution-oriented and enjoy hands-on problem-solving. You have an excellent eye for detail (it’s a must!), and your good communication skills help you to collaborate with different internal and external stakeholders. You will work both in Finnish and in English.

Practicalities:
We hope you can start part-time already in early spring and full-time at the beginning of May. The traineeship lasts until the end of August 2025. The position is located in Tampere and we work with a hybrid model - therefore a readiness to visit The Factory (Framery HQ) actively to work with the team and meet colleagues is required.
