We are looking for a Product Specialist in Network Performance Management to join Elisa Polystar!

In this role you join the product team focused on further enhancing and developing the Network Performance Management. This role can be done from variety of locations in Europe. Our headquarters are in Stockholm, Sweden.  

Role Overview:

As a Product Specialist in Network Performance Management, you will play a critical role in shaping Elisa Polystar Network Assurance and network intelligence offerings. You will provide deep technical expertise in monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing network performance across multi-technology environments, including FTTx, IP, Optical, 5G, LTE, and legacy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical authority on network performance KPIs, analytics, and optimization strategies across core, transport, and fixed access domains.
• Lead the design and validation of performance management solutions for transport and fixed access networks within Elisa Polystar Network Assurance portfolio.
• Collaborate with product managers, solution architects, and customer teams to define use cases and ensure successful deployments.
• Analyze large-scale network data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for automation and optimization.
• Support pre-sales engagements, customer workshops, and technical training sessions.
• Contribute to the development of AI/ML-based performance analytics and closed-loop automation frameworks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in telecom network operations, performance engineering, or service assurance.
• In-depth knowledge of telecom KPIs (e.g., latency, throughput, bit error rate, packet loss, jitter), and network and service topology modeling.
• In-depth knowledge in design and operations of IP and optical transport, fixed access / fiber to the home infrastructures.
• Familiarity with 5G architecture, network slicing, and cloud-native technologies.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Grafana, ML/AI libraries and models).
