Platform Owner, Salesforce
We are seeking an experienced Platform Owner, Salesforce, who wants to create and deliver solutions hands-on that improve the scalability and maintainability of our platform. This role ensures that our Salesforce platform performs effectively and securely, as an important part of the enterprise architecture.
Our Salesforce team consists of 3 colleagues and we’re looking to up our game with a technical expert who brings vision and skills to maximize the capabilities of our platform. Our operation mode consists of high trust in individuals and independence in making decisions and getting things done. We build and ship developments continuously and handle the support activities as a team.
In this role, you are responsible for developing, customizing, and integrating our Salesforce platform. As the owner of the org you have a key role leveraging the strengths of the platform at scale. While you get to focus on Salesforce core, the solutions used span across multiple Salesforce products and other integrated applications.
Required experience and competencies
- Advanced technical expertise of Salesforce.com core is required (approximately 2-3 years). Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Pardot, and Heroku specific knowledge are considered as assets.
- Demonstrated skills to implement complex logics using custom Apex code, Flows, Lightning Web Components or Visualforce.
What we look for in this role is someone who has shown they can deliver advanced technical solutions on Salesforce all the way from specifications to production and supporting them. A specific background or certifications are not required, however technical acumen and proficiency in developing Salesforce core is a must for this role. Success in the environment calls for adaptability to change, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
You are interested in Salesforce technology and able to debug the system to understand root causes, orders of execution, and corrective actions. You need to be able to independently assess and improve the org health and functionalities. This means proactively managing the backlog that you have identified and scoped and taking part in solution designs and specifications in new developments together with the team.
Key responsibilities:
- Technical ownership of the Salesforce platform.
- Developing and maintaining the Salesforce platform using Advanced Flows, Apex and LWC.
- Integrate Salesforce with other systems using APIs
- Develop and maintain connected apps, custom apps and solutions, managed and un-managed packages.
- Participate in rotating support together with the team.
- Define and document version control, including integration points, data models, and security protocols.

We work in a hybrid working model, allowing flexible remote work practices. However, we expect you to have the possibility to visit the Tampere office approximately once a month and hopefully to be able to participate in company events infrequently and therefore you should be located in Finland.
