The Global IT Services unit offers centrally managed technology and infrastructure for Elisa’s services and production functions. The Platform and Clouds team manages and develops both private and public cloud solutions for various operations around the globe. We work in close collaboration with Elisa’s business units and leading technology partners.

We are now looking for a Private Cloud Developer to join our team

If you have experience with OpenStack, OpenShift, or Kubernetes technologies and are motivated to help define and build Elisa’s current and future private cloud solutions, this is a great opportunity for you!

You will work together with Kubernetes, Linux, and private cloud experts to develop and operate Elisa’s private cloud platforms. A solid understanding of data center and virtual network technologies is essential for success in this role.

We expect that you have 

• Experience developing production-scale OpenStack, OpenShift or Kubernetes platforms 
• Strong Linux admin skills, preferably with relevant certifications to demonstrate your expertise 
• Knowledge of OVS/OVN or UDN networking technologies and general datacenter network solutions 
• Experience on Public Clouds, IaC based cloud infrastructure configuration and cloud development practices and technologies is seen as advantage 
• Strong teamwork skills and a desire to achieve the best possible results by working closely together with the rest of the department
