We are looking for a Product Manager / Product Owner for naval products for a permanent position. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the viability of the product, including creating the product roadmap, defining product specifications, and conducting obsolescence reviews. You will support the sales of the product and act as an expert for both product development and sales. We are looking for a positive team player with experience to join our team.

The product manager/product owner will:

• Assume responsibility over product viability, including product roadmap, product specifications and obsolescence reviews,
• Assume responsibility over maintaining the product documentation,
• Support sales in questions about product features, operating principles, and performance,
• Work closely with R&D project managers in future product development, and
• Provide expert support for sales and R&D on the product use case, its operational environment and the physical phenomena enabling the product

To succeed in this post, a candidate should:

• Possess a M.Sc in STEM, for example in physics or engineering,
• Have training, insight or experience in marine applications, especially naval vessels and operations,
• Have experience in product management, project management or similar managerial position
• Be organized, systematic and communicative person (both written and spoken communication skills necessary)
• Proficiency in Finnish and English
