Product Marketing Manager

The role:   

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager who will be responsible for the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for all our products and services. This role will own the long-term product marketing strategy and tactics and collaborate with several leaders within the organization on day-to-day operations and execution. The ideal candidate brings expertise, versatility, and an enthusiasm for continuously improving our position as the TMS Leader in the industry.  

Your primary focus will be on creating and executing the product marketing plan to support pipeline generation and enabling our existing customers to flourish. You have a clear vision and well-considered know-how knowledge on how product marketing jointly with sales and pre-sales teams will add value for our customers with well-built product marketing and communication plan. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor for sales and pre-sales teams guiding them through all steps involved in cash and treasury management product feature improvements, focusing on value propositioning and excellence in customer communication. You work closely with sales-, product-, marketing- and consultant teams to execute the product marketing plan, aligning efforts with overall business goals and ensuring cross-functional collaboration. You lead your own work, taking ownership of product marketing initiatives. To succeed in this role, you are tech savvy and you proactively grow your product marketing skills through continuous learning, staying updated on industry trends and best practices. Besides that, you are excited by change and have a growth mindset. We prefer candidates based in Tampere, Finland, but remote work is also an option. We ask that you visit our office once a week for in-person collaboration. Our Tampere office is conveniently located near the main railway station. 

   

Your responsibilities:    

Strategy 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive product marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives. 

  • Take part in developing GTM strategies to ensure Nomentia’s products reach revenue goals, including GTM motions for new product features and feature improvements.   

  • Oversee the execution of product launches, ensuring a smooth and successful market entry that maximizes revenue potential. 

Content Creation & Product Messaging 

  • Develop engaging and informative content across various channels, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, product videos, competitive analysis, and objection handling guides to effectively communicate our value proposition.   

  • Define clear product messaging and positioning that supports and amplifies our vision and thought leadership, resonates with target audiences and differentiates Nomentia in the marketplace. 

  • Create sales collateral, such as presentation and training materials to support sales and pre-sales teams in their success. 

  • Collaborate with sales enablement to build and deliver competitive battlecards, sales plays, demo scripts and other tools for training and enabling across the direct and partner sales teams.  

Project management  

  • Arrange and lead training to support sales and pre-sales with new product features and improvements. 

  • Collect valuable feedback from markets and gather important and relevant information for internal usage. 

  • Conduct in-depth market and customer research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights. 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry analysts and key media contacts.

Events & Collaborations    

  • Plan and execute industry events together with marketing team. 

  • Assist in webinars. 

  • Take part in conferences in various places in Europe to enhance brand and product visibility. 

  • Meet regularly with product, sales and pre-sales teams in Nomentia’s offices in Vienna, Amsterdam, Espoo and Tampere. 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product-, marketing- and consultant teams to ensure effective delivery of new product features and improvements. 

 

Requirements:  

  • Minimum of 5 years of product marketing experience, with a preference for candidates with a background in fintech and/or banking.   

  • Experience from SaaS business, with a preference for candidates with a background in growth companies.  

  • Strong product-sense, user-centricity and ability to drive ideation. 

  • Outstanding communication skills and influence in a cross-functional team. 

  • Ability to independently own product marketing strategy and execution in a highly technical and dynamic environment. 

  • Ability to initiate and drive multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating a proactive approach to work.   

  • Native-level English (written and spoken) is a must. Knowledge of German or Nordic languages is a plus.   

  • Experience with Hubspot and/or Salesforce is seen as an advantage.
