Our Netvisor product already serves over 36 000 users in Finland; 150 000 payslips are created and over 1 million invoices are sent monthly. Realtime cloud service is built to ease the daily work of entrepreneurs, accountants and employees by automating many of the tedious processes like handling vouchers, receipts, invoicing and payroll.
Product Owner (=PO) is the solution expert with vast knowledge of customers, their needs and the product. PO is responsible for the product for its whole lifetime and accountable for maximizing the value of the product. This is done by developing and communicating product goals to stakeholders, prioritizing work for the development team and ensuring that the work is transparent, visible and understood.
As a Product Owner in Netvisor, you will be responsible for:
- Creating a vision for the team, controlling the change and excellent communication to the development team and stakeholders
- Cooperation with stakeholders (especially with Product Managers) to inform them and gain information of the needs of the market
- Communicating assistance needs from other teams and functions and making dependencies transparent. Bringing solutions, restrictions, possibilities and risks to discussion
- Understanding of the business processes
- Maintaining, prioritizing and refining a roadmap / backlog of the team and with the team
- Creating value with using data for the customer and growth mindset
- Evaluating product progress, being accountable for the end result of the product in every delivery and verifying customer impact and value of a delivery
How to succeed?
- The following demonstrates some examples of background that will help you to succeed in this role:
- Experience in working as a Product Owner, preferably in Product Development
- Product Owner certification, for example PSPO
- Understanding of business domain area of the team; for example accounting, accounting offices, finance, mobile development
- Ability and willingness to learning new things on the job
- Understanding of AI and automation
- Inspiring development team and stakeholders, making the impact visible
- Understanding of the technical restrictions and possibilities
