What You'll Be Doing 

We are looking for Product Owner to join our team in shaping the future of digital business message transmission and e-invoicing services. We're renewing both our technology and product, and you'll have the opportunity to be part of that transformation. Most of the work focuses on building and developing something new, rather than maintaining the old. You’ll get to leave your mark on what the future will look like — shaping the direction we're heading and helping design what comes next. In this role, you will guide development from planning to delivery, ensuring the team focuses on the right tasks at the right time to meet goals for functionality, quality and usability. You bring clarity to product requirements and enable the team to move forward with a shared, actionable understanding of what needs to be built.  

You will own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is clear, structured and transparent. You will break down high-level customer needs and requirements into detailed backlog items with well-defined goals and completion criteria. By clarifying what needs to be built and why and working closely with the team to refine and prioritize tasks, you ensure that development moves forward with shared understanding, feasibility and focus.  

You work with a proactive mindset, a systematic approach and a strong focus on results. You collaborate closely with the development team, architects and Head of Product to drive progress, while maintaining a strong connection to customer needs and business requirements.  

What We Are Looking For 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in product ownership within SaaS or commercial software development. 

• Strong understanding of the full digital product lifecycle and ability to turn customer needs into valuable solutions. 

• Ability to connect product decisions to business goals, user expectations and long-term value. 

• Comfortable participating in technical discussions and understanding how architecture choices affect scalability and maintainability. 

• Skilled in prioritizing, breaking down goals into actionable tasks and keeping development focused. 

• Clear and effective communicator in English, both written and verbal; Finnish is considered an asset. 

• Practical knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, and experience using Jira for backlog and planning. 

• Analytical and structured problem-solver who makes decisions based on data and insights. 

• Organized and purposeful in driving work forward from planning to delivery. 

• Supportive and challenging team collaborator focused on meaningful outcomes. 

• Familiarity with accounting or e-invoicing processes and experience with financial software is a plus. 

Please note, that passing the standard security clearance vetting conducted by the Finnish Security and Intelligence Service is a requirement for employment in this position. The employer begins the security clearance process immediately after both parties have signed the employment contract.
