Product Specialist in Microbiology in Finland

We at Miclev AB are now looking to expand our team with a driven, responsible, and service‑oriented Product Specialist for the Finnish market.

About the position

This role involves building and maintaining our long‑term customer relationships within industrial and clinical microbiology. You will work from a home office and serve as our Product Specialist for the Finnish market. The goal is for you to become an expert on our products and be able to present and inform new and existing customers about Miclev’s product portfolio. Customer interactions take place via phone, in‑person meetings, digital meetings, and trade fairs.

Our customers operate within pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, hospitals, and to some extent within the food industry. You will be offered an independent and developmental role and will work together with a positive team based in Limhamn, Malmö. You will report directly to the Sales Manager.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who either has a few years of experience from the laboratory field combined with academic education focusing on microbiology/biomedicine/chemistry, or someone with knowledge of microbiological terminology gained through several years of commercial experience in the life science industry combined with academic education in marketing. It is considered a merit if you have a network within our customer segment and have worked with products similar to those in Miclev’s assortment.

As a person, you are used to taking initiative, working independently, and driving sales processes forward. You are responsible, socially skilled, and collaborate easily with customers, suppliers, and colleagues. You thrive in a flexible organization where independence and taking initiative are encouraged. You are a problem‑solver, and nothing feels too big or too small for you to take on. It is essential that you are fluent in Finnish and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Swedish is an advantage. The role involves travel within Finland and occasional travel to Miclev’s office in Malmö. Expect approximately 10-20 overnight stays per year. A driver’s license is required.
