We offer a challenging position in a production environment for a Production Supervisor Trainee.  As a trainee, you will have your own responsibilities and independent work tasks or projects in addition to the bread-and-butter tasks of the team. You will play a key role in supporting your team as they strive to maintain the quality of work also in the summertime. 

The Production Team is part of Framery's Supply Chain and focuses on making Framery Smart Pods. We handle the manufacturing tasks, including assembly of chassis and glass modules, and packing the products. You'll work closely with other Production Supervisors and various Supply Chain teams to ensure products are delivered on time. Production Supervisors lead and organize the daily and weekly workflow for the production team to meet productivity and efficiency goals. Good problem-solving and communication skills are necessary. You'll also ensure your team members understand their responsibilities in manufacturing while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity.

As a Production Supervisor Trainee, your responsibilities include:

• Daily, weekly, and monthly production department capacity planning, including availability of resources and materials.
• Allocating resources to maintain production efficiency targets through your team.
• Communicating changes and modifications to production procedures to employees.
• Taking part in improving production ergonomics, safety, development of the daily operations in your production department.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Knowledge of the production workflow
• Thorough and focused ways of working, and a“can-do” -attitude
• Understanding and experience in production management and LEAN principles
• Suitable education / ongoing studies (M.Sc. or B.Sc.) 
• Fluency in English and Finnish
• Experience in ERP (especially Netsuite) and WMS/MES -systems is seen as an advantage

Practicalities:
This is a full-time and fixed-term position from May to the end of August 2025. We hope you can start on May 5th, but the exact dates can be agreed on together to suit the needs of both parties best. The position is located in Tampere and we work with a hybrid model - therefore a readiness to visit The Factory (Framery HQ) actively to work with the team and meet colleagues is required.
