We are now looking for a Project Coordinator / Researcher to join our Nuclear Energy Solutions team that has a holistic understanding of nuclear energy. The team masters nuclear sector functions considering also the societal, economic, and political aspects. Defining and developing potential business cases and coordinating demanding and complex projects are key functions of the team. 

With us, you will be responsible for:

In the beginning, you would mainly work on a project supporting the international cooperation of the NOMATEN Centre of Excellence. The project lasts until 2026 and consists of work on assisting and developing the governance, human resources, research infrastructure, strategic research and innovation agenda, capacity building programme, and innovation-based sustainability of the Centre of Excellence.

In practice, you will be working in close collaboration with the project manager. The duties are planning the related activities, communication between project partners, developing processes and finding best practices, promoting the Centre of Excellence e.g., in conferences and fairs, organising meetings and events, establishing industrial relations, marketing, and selling, and participating in both internal and collaborative project meetings.

In addition, your duties could be tailored based on your interest within the scope of the team’s key competencies: overall safety from an architect engineering point of view, nuclear safety regulations and licensing, human capacity building, business cases, and project management.

Who we are looking for:

  • You have at least a Master of Science degree from a relevant area
  • You have applicable working experience for at least a few years, for example from research, nuclear industry, technical communication, or project coordination
  • You are proficient in communication since the coordination of the project requires communication with different internal and external stakeholders
  • You have excellent written and spoken English skills 
  • You are willing to travel, since the Centre of Excellence is in Poland, near Warsaw
