SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR HOTEL CLEANING IN VUOKATTI, SOTKAMO

The temporary employment relationship starts as agreed and lasts until end of August 2025.

Housekeeping work includes cleaning the hotel rooms and replenishing supplies, changing clean bed linen, careful cleaning of the sanitary facilities, and wiping of floor and contact surfaces. During the summer, basic cleanings are also carried out, which include, among other things, washing floors and windows.

At SOL, an employee is called a service provider, as you are responsible for the service you provide, i.e. a first-class cleaning result. In their work, service providers meet customers in their daily work, so customer service is also part of your job.

We expect you to be motivated to learn new things, have readiness for physical work, and have a sunny attitude towards meeting customers. We value previous cleaning experience, but you can do well without it, as we carefully familiarize you with the hotel world and the cleaning methods carried out there that respect the environment and comply with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. The work also includes close cooperation with other service providers in your team and the hotel staff. In our multilingual team we work in Finnish and in English.

The salary for the position follows the collective agreement for the facility services sector, during the orientation period in salary group 2 (€ 11.94/h) and thereafter in salary group 3 (€ 12.32/h). The pay scales will be updated in August.

The working hours during the summer vary according to the hotel's occupancy rate (about 10-30 h/week). From time to time, the everyday life at the hotel may require you to be flexible in terms of both working hours and the length of the days. The working days are between Monday and Sunday, and there may be shifts from early morning to late night between 06:00 and 00:00. Shifts are agreed upon in advance.
