Quality Manager

Join Hedengren as our Quality Manager and help us set new standards for excellence. If you’re passionate about building a culture of quality and advancing sustainability at a Group level, this is your opportunity to influence change and make a difference.

We are looking for a Quality Manager who will keep us on the path of continuous improvement and act as trusted advisor. This role focuses on coordinating quality initiatives while offering guidance and support across our Nordic organization.

We currently have ISO9001 and ISO14001 quality systems implemented in Finland, Norway, and Estonia, and our goal is to expand these systems across the Group. In addition, ISO27001 will be implemented during 2026. At Hedengren, quality and sustainability are not just words, they are part of our everyday work and development. In sustainability we are presently at the Ecovadis Bronze level.

The position of Quality Manager at Hedengren is a highly demanding and multifaceted role, requiring exceptional leadership and project management skills across a broad area of responsibility involving numerous process owners in multiple countries. Oversight of quality systems is primarily achieved through close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Success in this role depends on the ability to maintain and continuously develop quality systems while fostering strong relationships and effective cooperation. Candidates should possess extensive experience in quality management systems and a minimum of seven years in a comparable leadership position.

As the Nordic region constitutes our core market, fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in additional Nordic languages will be considered a significant advantage.

This is a permanent position based at Hedengren’s headquarters in Helsinki. We offer a flexible hybrid work model that combines remote and on-site work. In this role, you will report to the CEO and work closely together with the Group Management team and the Country Managers.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and Implement Quality Systems
Create and maintain QMS, policies, and procedures aligned with ISO or other relevant standards.
  • Monitor and Analyze Quality Performance
Track key quality metrics, conduct audits, and analyze data to identify trends and improvement areas.
  • Supplier Quality Management
Collaborate with the supply chain to ensure quality requirements are met and manage corrective actions.
  • Training and Development
Train Hedengren personnel on quality standards and continuous improvement practices. Develop processes in collaboration with business areas and process owners.
  • Customer Feedback and Experience
Investigate complaints, follow up on customer experience, implement corrective actions, and communicate resolutions.
  • Compliance and Documentation
Ensure adherence to legal, safety, and industry regulations; maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
  • Risk Management
Assess and mitigate risks related to product quality and process reliability. Implement preventive measures.
  • Sustainability
Quality systems and Sustainability have a strong interconnection, and we believe that our Quality Manager has a lot to give when it comes to improve Hedengren operations from a sustainability perspective.
