At Amer Sports, our Global Business Services (GBS) organization plays a key role in ensuring strong financial governance and high‑quality reporting across our iconic global brands. We are now looking for a Record to Report Senior Accounting Specialist (Intercompany) to join our RTR team in Kraków.

In this role, you will be a key contributor to accurate intercompany accounting and reporting across multiple entities and regions. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, support audits, drive process improvements, and help ensure that intercompany balances are accurate, timely, and fully compliant with group policies and accounting standards.

What you will be doing:

• Intercompany Financial Reporting: Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations for multiple intercompany relationships across regions. Resolve long‑outstanding mismatches by collaborating with relevant stakeholders and ensure balances are cleared in line with corporate guidance.

• General Ledger Management: Monitor and review general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data during period‑end and month‑end close.

• Operational Accounting Activities: Book AR and AP invoices, process related payments, and manage blocked documents in the system. Prepare documentation and reporting to support transfer pricing recharges and true‑ups. Coordinate timely month‑end close for intercompany balances and accruals.

• Audit Support: Actively support interim and year‑end audits by providing required data, explanations, and resolving auditor queries related to intercompany topics.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Service, Consolidation team, Tax Team, and Financial Controllers to investigate and resolve intercompany issues efficiently.

• Process Documentation & Compliance: Maintain and update process documentation (DTPs, process maps) and ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Process Improvement & Standardization: Identify opportunities to improve, standardize, and streamline intercompany processes, contributing to global RTR initiatives.

• Team Support: Provide guidance to less experienced team members and support the Team Leader in achieving operational and quality objectives.

What you need to succeed:

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in accounting, including at least 2 years in General Ledger accounting
• Practical knowledge of accounting and/or audit processes
• Experience working with SAP Finance and reconciliation tools such as Blackline or similar
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel
• Excellent task and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy, with a proactive approach to work
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with a positive, solution‑oriented attitude
• Very good written and spoken English
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Self-directed and innovative mindset. 
• Eagerness to take ownership of projects and responsibilities, driving personal and professional growth.
