Répétiteur
for an employment relationship valid until further notice from 1.9.2025 or according to agreement
You will work as a répétiteur and musical coach for opera singers in the preparation of opera premieres and revivals. Your working languages are Finnish and/or English, and other language skills are considered an advantage. We require you to have relevant education and work experience in the field.

Video Qualifier:
A video recording must be submitted with the application. In the video, the prelude to Act 1 of R. Strauss's Der Rosenkavalier should be played up to rehearsal number 12. The video must be filmed with a single camera so that the applicant is visible in the image at all times. Post-processing of sound and image is prohibited.
After the video selection, we will invite some of the applicants to an audition, which will be held at the Finnish National Opera and Ballet on 19 May 2025. An invitation to the audition will be sent to the selected applicants by 28 April.
In the audition, the following tasks are performed:
R. Strauss, Elektra: from the beginning to rehearsal No. 34, both playing and singing the vocal parts
R. Strauss, Elektra: from the beginning to rehearsal No. 34, vocal coaching with the vocal soloist
G. Puccini, Tosca: all Angelotti's scenes under the direction of the conductor, playing and singing
G. Puccini, Tosca: Act 1 rehearsal numbers 49-57, both playing and singing the vocal parts
Suomen kansallisooppera ja -baletti
Kaikkien suomalaisten taidelaitoksina Kansallisooppera ja Kansallisbaletti tarjoavat ooppera- ja balettiesityksiä sekä muita tapahtumia kaikenikäisille. Vierailuesitykset, koululaisoopperat, esitystallenteet ja suoratoistot sekä televisioinnit ja radioinnit vievät toimintaa kaikkialle Suomeen ja maailmalle. Henkilöstömäärältään Suomen kansallisooppera ja -baletti on keskisuuri ooppera- ja balettitalo, kuukausipalkkaisia työntekijöitä on noin 550, 33 eri maasta. Oopperatalossa työskentelee oopperalaulajien, muusikoiden ja tanssijoiden lisäksi myös erilaisten käsityöammattien huippuosaajia suutareista lavastamotyöntekijöihin. Esityksissä kuullaan ja nähdään myös suuri joukko sekä kotimaisia että ulkomaisia vierailijoita.
