Research Scientist or Senior Scientist, RF microsystems

We are now looking for Research Scientist or Senior Scientist to join our RF microsystems team

RF microsystems team is developing several types of MEMS, BAW/FBAR and IPD  components that enable especially the next generation radio and telecommunication systems (6G), quantum computing  etc. We are a multi-national group of experts.

Your responsibilities as a Research Scientist/Senior Scientist:

  • Working on research projects in the field of novel MEMS & thin film devices for RF applications and their materials and manufacturing technology with ambitious goals
  • You are able and willing to both contribute technically and lead sub-projects and projects
  • You will be coordinating PDK preparation in the team
  • You will participate in preparing project proposals as well as partner & customer communication including technical discussions and planning with other experts

Who we are looking for:

  • M.Sc. or D.Sc. in physics or electrical engineering (or similar)
  • Strong know-how in the fields of RF, MEMS, microelectronics/integrated circuits technology, design of RF MEMS devices and/or their manufacturing technology.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate activities involving experts from materials physics, device design, manufacturing processes and characterization.
  • Ability to navigate in a complex project portfolio with cross-dependencies
  • Enthusiasm to grow into project manager role while continuing  to contribute to technology development (we are not looking for pure project manager role)
  • Fluent skills in spoken and written English, high quality of written reporting in English

We consider as assets also:

  • Experience in customer work
  • Knowledge about industrial design and/or manufacturing of MEMS & microelectronics.
  • Experience and knowledge on using and/or developing PDKs
