We are now looking for a passionate top expert in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to join our Clean Air Solutions team!
As a Research / Senior Scientist, you will be working in close collaboration with different stakeholders in jointly-funded projects as well as national and international customer projects. The job is located in Tampere or Espoo, Finland.
The main activities of our Clean air solutions team are related to ventilation and air filtration technologies, fine particle exposure control (including SARS-CoV-2 and other airborne pathogens), indoor air quality, decontamination techniques and clean production systems.

As a member of the Clean air solutions team, you will be responsible for carrying out and applying for research and customer projects in the field of ventilation systems, air filtration and airborne contamination control. The work contains mainly modelling but may also include experimental research. Your work will utilise Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and multiphase fluid simulation - especially particle-laden air flows including airborne transmission of pathogens. You will be responsible for reporting and communicating the results of your research to project stakeholders and to academic community.

Good communication skills in spoken and written English are necessary. Experience in project or customer work is an asset. The ability to apply theoretical understanding to create practical solutions will be highly appreciated.
