We are seeking for a Research Scientist or Senior Scientist to join our Quantitative Science and Technology Studies team!

As a Research or Senior Scientist, your key goals are to carry out world class research in science and technology studies. Dependent on your qualifications, You will have an essential role in the team as an expert in quantitative analysis and taking part or leading research projects. Our Quantitative Science and Technology Studies team focuses on analysing changes in our technological world using large data sets and tools such as natural language processing.

With us you will be responsible for

As a member of the research team, you will participate in national and international research projects, and develop new methods and tools. You will take part in marketing and participate in applying, planning and implementation of projects in the field of Science and Technology Studies, particularly on the impact of emerging technology in firms and society more broadly. You should be able to fluently communicate and approach a wide range of co-operation partners; academia, industrial partners and other interest groups.

Who we are looking for

We look for applications from prospective candidates with either master degree and on-going or planned doctoral studies, recent postdoctoral researcher (can consider APD candidates) or candidates at a senior scientist level. The perfect candidate is able to merge econometric analysis with strong data science skills (e.g. machine learning, visualization, natural language processing, databases). A background in Science and Technology Studies is expected, but this can come from different fields such as Industrial engineering, Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences. For candidates considered at Senior Scientist level, we expect experience in applying and running externally funded research project or several years of project management experience in industry.
