We are looking for a RESTAURANT SHIFT MANAGER for the brand-new, stunning JÄNKÄ RESORT in Ylläs.
Jänkä Resort will open for the Christmas season of 2025.
Located in the middle of untouched nature in Ylläs, Jänkä Resort offers guests a unique opportunity to reconnect with nature in a new way.
Ylläs is situated Lapland, in the most Northern part of Finland. It is a year-round travel destination, combining the tranquility of nature with the services of a ski resort.

The role focuses on à la carte service and shift manager responsibilities. You will lead the restaurant team during your shift, participating in tasks such as inventory management, order placements, and ensuring high-quality customer service.
The position starts approximately on the mid of November 2025, and continues through the winter season until about till the end of April 2026.
There is also the possibility for a longer-term employment.
You are the right fit for us if:
You have a passion for customer service and genuinely want to provide a warm and high-quality experience for every guest.
You have at least three years of work experience in the restaurant industry and are a top professional when it comes to working with people.
You have solid knowledge of food and beverages, and upselling comes naturally to you.
You take pride in your work and can function effectively as part of a team, even under pressure and during busy periods.
You have a keen eye for detail and are eager to develop into a top-level resort service professional.
You speak fluent English; additional language skills such as Finnish, German, French, Spanish, or Chinese are considered as a benefit
You hold valid Finnish alcohol service- and hygiene certificates (we will help to get these, if you do not have those yet)
