Nosto is hiring a Sales Development Representative for DACH
 

As a Nosto Sales Development Representative, you will learn the basics of lead generation, prospecting and closing deals across the growing e-commerce ecosystem. Beyond growth into a Business Development Manager role, successful Sales Development Representatives can move into opportunities within Customer Success, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Leadership. 

Nosto’s network of partners and clients consists of a wide range of stakeholders in the field of ecommerce. To successfully perform your daily tasks as well as boost Nosto’s D/A/CH presence, it is important that you understand the various stakeholders’ e.g. D2C brands as well as Retail Brands, ecommerce platform vendors’, software integrators’, consulting houses’, email service providers’ and payment service providers’ roles in the ecosystem.

 

Responsibilities

  • Generate & qualify sales opportunities for Nosto with online retailers via direct outreach across email, phone, offline and other touch points 
  • Qualify e-commerce companies to work with while problem solving and finding solutions for their needs 
  • Work closely with SMB Account Executives to close business, continuously assisting in the development of your sales skills 
  • Work closely along the marketing team leveraging content and other assets to garner interest in Nosto’s personalization solution 
  • Learn in detail the end to end sales processes: quotas, pipeline management, selling and closing techniques 
  • Consistently contribute enthusiasm, support, and encouragement to other SDR team members as a leader on the sales floor 
  • Work on detailed market analysis and provide market feedback to the sales and tech team on daily basis 
  • Participate in marketing activities together with Nosto’s in-house marketing team


Requirements

  • a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related fields 
  • 1-2 years of professional experience, preferably in sales with an emphasis on prospecting through high activity level 
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize with sensitivity to deadlines 
  • Interest in developing your career within Sales 
  • Creative Thinking, Problem Solving, Willingness to Learn 
  • Experience with technology and the ecommerce industry would be a plus 
  • Experience with tools such as Salesforce and Yesware or Outreach would be a plus.
  • Native level in German is mandatory
  • The Nosto company language is English


Office location

  • The candidate will work from our office in Berlin or remotely in Germany. Working remotely from a different city where the office is located is possible in Germany but you will be required to travel to the office for team gatherings/meetings once the pandemic situation allows. A valid working visa for Germany is required.
