Work setup: Hybrid model, with the option to work from Nomentia’s Amsterdam office and occasional travel within Europe when required. 

Sales focus: Approximately 80% new business development and 20% account management, focused on acquiring and growing customers across Benelux & UK.

Role details 

As a Sales Executive, you will: 

  • Own and grow your new business pipeline, from prospecting to closing, with full accountability for sales targets 

  • Drive new customer acquisition across the Benelux & UK regions. 

  • Manage and grow a smaller portfolio of existing customers, focusing on retention, renewals, and upsell opportunities 

  • Lead customer meetings, discovery workshops, and commercial negotiations together with Presales and other internal experts 

  • Share product updates and strategic insights with customers to identify growth opportunities 

  • Collaborate closely with Presales, Product, Consulting, and Customer Support teams to deliver strong customer outcomes 

  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and account information in Salesforce 

 

Who you’ll work with 

Your team: Benelux & UK Sales team. 

Internal stakeholders: Presales, Product, Consulting, Customer Support, and Revenue leadership. 

External stakeholders: Finance leaders, treasurers, and decision makers at customer organizations. 

 

What success looks like in this role 

In your first 6 months, you’re expected to: 

  • Build a qualified and credible new‑business pipeline  

  • Advance new‑logo opportunities to clear, defined stages of the sales cycle (e.g. qualified discovery, technical validation, commercial discussion), demonstrating consistent deal progression 

  • Develop a strong working understanding of Nomentia’s solutions, target customers and value proposition 

  • Establish yourself as a trusted partner to customers and a reliable collaborator internally 

 

Longer term, you’ll be measured by: 

  • New business revenue and sales target achievement 

  • Net revenue retention (NRR) within your account portfolio 

  • Upsell and cross‑sell success 

  • Customer satisfaction and quality of collaboration internally 

 

What we’re looking for 

  • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within fintech, SaaS, or financial services 

  • Proven track record in consultative new business sales 

  • Experience selling to C‑level and senior finance stakeholders 

  • Understanding of cash management, treasury, or financial ecosystems is a strong advantage 

  • Fluent English (written and spoken)  

  • Dutch and/or French is seen as a strong plus
