Sales Manager – Combine Harvesters, Sampo-Rosenlew Oy
Sampo‑Rosenlew is a Finnish manufacturer of high‑quality combine harvesters with over 150 years of industrial heritage. We are now looking for a Sales Manager (Combine Harvesters) to take responsibility for Central European markets and to work hands‑on with our dealer network close to customers and the field.
Your role
In this role, you will be responsible for combine harvester sales and dealer development in Central Europe, with a strong focus on existing partners and on expanding the dealer network where needed. This role is not a people management position – it is a commercial, hands‑on sales role with strong ownership and accountability.
Your responsibilities include:
- Responsibility for combine harvester sales in Central Europe (e.g. Germany, Poland, France, Romania; Baltics depending on structure)
- Developing, leading and supporting the dealer network – making dealers successful in their markets
- Identifying and onboarding new dealers where needed
- Active presence in the field: customer visits, dealer support, demos and market follow‑up
- Close collaboration with Sampo‑Rosenlew’s sales, service, aftersales, production and R&D teams
- Full responsibility for sales results in your markets
In this role over 50% of your working time will be spent travelling, mainly in Central Europe (100+ travel days per year. You are based in Finland (location flexible: e.g. Helsinki region) Regular presence at the Pori head office is expected, typically about once a week, but flexibly depending on travel days.
You will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing and work closely with an experienced team that already knows the combine harvester business well.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a highly motivated, hands‑on sales professional who is excited to build results through people, dealers and long‑term customer relationships.
You could be a great fit if you have:
- Experience in sales of machinery, equipment or other high‑value technical products
- Experience working with dealer or distributor networks
- Strong willingness to travel extensively and work close to the market
- A proactive, social and team‑oriented working style
- Patience and persistence – these are long sales cycles, not quick wins
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken in professional level
- Other languages are a strong advantage (especially German, Polish, French or Romanian)
- Finnish language skills are an advantage, but not mandatory
Experience in agricultural or forestry machinery is a plus – but above all, we value the right mindset, hunger to succeed and ability to get people moving.
