Sales & Marketing Consultant

We are looking for a sales and result driven Sales and Marketing Consultant for a full-time position, who has a passion for finding new sales opportunities. In the role of Sales & Marketing consultant, you will be working closely with the Commercial Lead, Marketing Manager and Sales Development Colleagues to create and manage the best sales experience our future customers have ever had.

We have developed our Automated Sales Engine to support sales and client acquisition and you will have a great opportunity to join us in further developing our way of working. We are using state-of-the-art technologies in our Sales Development so you will not be just cold calling random companies over the phone, quite the opposite. 

Ideally, you either have some sales experience or have the confidence to develop yourself into a sales & marketing expert. You are in a critical role and will be supported to succeed in your work. You will  also have a big group of top-notch colleagues and experts in the field of data & analytics, engagement tech, marketing & sales strategy and experience orchestration to work with. A great learning experience therefore promised!

From this role, you will have possibilities to advance to a full-scale Sales role, Account Management or to a Consultant position, working as a Consultant.

Key responsibilities

  • Book meetings and handle prospect pipeline in Finland, ensuring we have a healthy activity level in New Business sales

  • Build automated sales sequences into our Sales and Marketing technologies, further develop our automated way-of-working together with your peers

  • Assist Marketing Manager in creating marketing materials for the Finnish market

  • Assist in ensuring sales reporting is up to date

  • Participate in building a sales mindset and culture within the organisation

  • Assist in developing Avaus general go-to-market as needed

  • Contribute input to sales and offering development based on results from prospecting

  • Collaborate with Marketing Manager and Business Leads in Finland to secure that our offerings are well presented and exposed in the market to create a doubling demand for our overall business 

  • Proactively participate in Avaus culture and its shaping and development

  • Although initial focus should be on developing the Finnish sales and marketing collaboration, aligning, sharing knowledge and learnings across the group will be key

What does good look like 6 months from start: 

  • Proactively managing own onboarding and ingestion of subject matter 

  • Immerse into Avaus culture and contribute to it flourishing from start

  • Independently delivering on targets and expectations, accountability for required actions, plans and help/input needed

  • Proactively create a realisation plan for agreed targets which is followed up on bi-weekly basis with the commercial lead

  • Proactively suggesting improvements and development in processes and plans in regards to sales and marketing

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience or interest to develop in sales

  • Digital marketing, data and marketing experience or interest to learn 

  • Active, energetic and a people-person

  • Good organisation and time-management skills

  • Excellent communicator, both orally and in writing

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to tolerate changes and failures

  • Fluent English (Finnish a big plus as you will be focusing on the Finnish market)
