Senior Account Executive

Currently we are looking to strengthen our strategy team with one or more Senior Account Executives to our Swedish business unit.

As a Senior Account Executive at Avaus your main priorities are growing our most strategic and/or largest accounts by building client relationships and creating and executing plans for account development (up- and cross sell). 

In addition to account growth you’ll be supporting Avaus to drive organisations’ digital transformation, helping our customers in becoming customer centric and supporting them in future proofing their capabilities. You need to have subject matter expertise and be able to advise our clients on their journey towards a data driven future. You will be responsible for clarifying and finding solutions to our clients’ challenges, and creating tangible business results for them. As a person, you have a strong commercial drive and you are curious and constantly pushing your limits. You are a people person and passionate about data, algorithms and customer experience as well as marketing and sales. You really want to challenge the status quo and get people to see their business in a new light. In addition to high impact PowerPoints you enjoy driving the change and seeing the business results of your work in practice. You probably have at least 5 years of experience in management consulting or in a similar role.


Your key responsibilities include:

  • Commercial development of named strategic accounts
  • New business sales
  • Customer advisory and growth including: 
    • Advising and interacting with our clients in strategic and transformational matters, with expertise within customer experience, marketing, and related data and technologies. 
    • Understanding your clients’ challenges/opportunities within tech and analytics
    • Managing selected projects and key accounts & being responsible for account targets
    • Coordinating our cross-competence customer teams’ work and ensuring results for the clients
    • Actively develop and contribute to new point of views and best practices
    • Identifying new opportunities in existing and new accounts, and actively driving business development activities


What we're looking for:

  • Academic Bachelor´s or Master’s degree (e.g. business, technology or similar)
  • 5+ years of work experience in management consulting with experience in projects related to data, technology, organizational change, marketing or sales (or similar role)
  • Proven track record within sales
  • Experience or strong interest in consultative sales and account management
  • Ambition, drive and can do attitude
  • Ability to act in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines on time & budget
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish 
  • Team-player mindset 
  • Fluent in Swedish, proficient in English. Other languages are a plus.
