Senior Accountant - Record to Report (JE&Reporting&Inventory)

Please note that this is a second-shift position, with working hours from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, designed to support our North America operations. The shift is required at least 2 times per week.

Are you an experienced accounting professional ready to take on a senior role in a dynamic and collaborative environment? Join our Record to Report JE&Reporting&Inventory Team as a Senior Accountant, where you’ll play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial reporting, driving process improvements, and supporting key financial operations across multiple entities.

What you will be doing:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance for all legal entities in scope.
  • General Ledger Management: Monitor and review general ledger accounts to guarantee the accuracy of financial information during period-end closings.
  • Operational Tasks: Independently handle daily, monthly, and ad-hoc tasks within the team’s scope, including performing closing activities as per the group schedule.
  • Audit Assistance: Collaborate with auditors during interim and year-end audits, providing necessary data and resolving queries.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison with customer service, sales teams, and Financial Controllers to address and resolve issues.
  • Process Documentation & Compliance: Maintain and update process documentation (e.g., DTPs, Process Maps) while ensuring adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to standardize and enhance processes, contributing to global initiatives.
  • Team Support: Provide guidance to less experienced team members and support your team lead in achieving operational goals.

What you need to succeed:

  • Experience:
    • At least 6 years of professional experience in accounting, with 4+ years in general ledger accounting.
    • Practical knowledge of accounting or audit processes.
    • Experience working with SAP Finance and reconciliation tools like Blackline.
  • Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
    • Excellent task and time management abilities.
    • Analytical mindset with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive approach to work.
    • Teamwork and collaboration skills, with a positive attitude.
    • Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize effectively.
  • Languages:
    • Very good written and spoken English.
  • Education:
    • A background in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is required.
