We seek a talented and experienced Senior Designer to strengthen our design community at Elisa.

How we work

You’ll be part of a multicultural and multi-disciplined design team that delivers rich designs and innovative user experiences for different platforms and devices. You’ll be involved in every part of the product development process, from research to testing and final implementation with users.

Your immediate design team consists of 7 designers working broadly across various projects at Elisa. Designers are allocated into multidisciplinary project teams, and your first responsibility will be in Consumer Services e-commerce development. Alongside your immediate team, you’ll also be part of the wider Elisa design community of 40+ designers. We nurture a rich design culture through monthly design breakfasts, review sessions, and other shared activities that help us learn from each other and stay inspired.

Our working culture is flexible, with a hybrid model that allows you to choose the best way to do your work. While you have the freedom to work remotely when it suits the task, we also value collaboration and expect teams to come together at our Pasila office around three days a week. Who we are looking for

You can 

• Demonstrate a strong background in interaction and UX design, preferably within e-commerce solutions, with a proven ability to create intuitive and engaging user experiences across platforms and devices
• Work end-to-end in the design process: from research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and final delivery
• Translate user needs and business requirements into clear design solutions, supported by both qualitative and quantitative insights
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, ensuring consistency and usability
• Apply and contribute to design systems and follow accessibility standards in your work
• Collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders
• Present and defend your design decisions clearly and confidently to a variety of stakeholders
• Apply rapid testing and validation methods (e.g. usability testing, A/B testing, or analytics-driven evaluation) to guide improvements

You have 

• 5+ years of experience in interaction and UX design, with a proven track record of delivering successful digital products or services
• Experience designing for e-commerce solutions or other consumer-facing platforms is considered a strong plus
• Solid knowledge of UX methodologies and tools, including user research, prototyping, testing, and data-driven validation
• Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams alongside developers, product managers, and business stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex requirements into clear and user-friendly solutions
• A portfolio that demonstrates your interaction and UX design expertise, as well as your ability to work from early concepts to polished designs
• Genuine curiosity about user behaviour and motivation, with the ability to anticipate and design for evolving needs
• Familiarity with design systems and accessibility standards, and experience applying them in practice
• Excellent communication skills in English (Finnish is a plus), both written and verbal
